- Voice chat is off on your first login. Enable it with the Voice system button. Your preference is saved for your character: if you leave it on or off when logging out, it stays that way when you return.
- Open Voice Chat from the top bar and check connection status at the bottom. Room controls are unavailable until the service is ready.
- Check Sound System On, Microphone On and Conversations On. These are three separate controls.
- The default push-to-talk key is F12. Click the push-to-talk row and press your preferred key. Press Esc to cancel selection.
- Hold your chosen key while speaking and release it when finished. Test with a friend to confirm you hear each other on the correct channel.

Create a room or join with code
A room holds up to 16 players. Guild and room channels do not broadcast to both groups simultaneously; check your last selected active channel.
- Select Voice Chat → Create Chat Room.
- Enter a New Room Name and press Create Room to make your own room.
- To join a friend's room, enter their 8-character invitation code in the lower field and press Join Room.
- Confirm the correct room name on the room screen. You can now talk to everyone in that room without a distance limit.

Share the Room Code and Leave
The Night Watch room and ABCD2345 code in the image are examples. Use the code generated for your own room in the game.
- Creating a room displays its invitation code and player count. Use Copy Code to copy it, then send it to the friend you want to invite.
- Use Leave Room if you only want to leave. Close Room is available only to the room owner.
- The room closes when its owner presses Close Room. Check your active channel in the voice menu afterward.

Player blocking and Guild channel
Block Player lists players in the channel and blocked players. Blocking one player does not mute everyone. Press Unblock to hear them again. An empty list means there are no other players to display in that channel.
- Press Guild Only and confirm it reads On to talk with your guild.
- Ask other guild members to select the Guild channel too. Sharing a guild does not let you hear conversations in another room.
- Turn off Guild Only to speak to nearby non-guild players. If you are in a room, leave it and check the active channel.
