Setup’s technical minimum is Windows 10 version 1607 (64-bit); Windows 10 22H2 or current Windows 11 is recommended for use. Microsoft support varies by Windows version. Microsoft Windows support information
The current package downloads approximately 1.8 GB and uses 3 GB after installation. The free storage figures also allow room for temporary installation and update files.
Required components
The game includes the .NET 10 runtime and its graphics and audio libraries. No separate SDK, XNA, OpenAL or codec pack is required.
If the required .NET Framework component is missing, setup downloads a verified .NET Framework 4.8 package from Microsoft and starts installation. Windows may request permission or a restart.
Microsoft Visual C++ v14 (x64) must be installed on your computer. If it is missing, install the official Microsoft package below; the current Volantis setup does not install it automatically.
