Houseboats · 500 DP

Each of the four models under Help → Donate → Houseboats costs 500 DP. Each purchase gives you one deed in your backpack. Architects do not sell these houses; a purchase does not unlock unlimited deeds.

Placement connected to shore

When placing a houseboat, its position and height are automatically adjusted to the water level around the point you select. The hull must remain over water, with a continuous walkable route across the bridge to real land. An item or platform placed over water does not count as shore on its own. Guard-zone and obstacle-clearance checks still apply. If no suitable site is found, placement is rejected and the deed is kept. Houseboats are fixed houses, not moving ships.

Redeeding a houseboat

Houseboats have 1,576 base storage and capacity for 3 vendors; storage upgrades are not sold for these models. You can convert a removed houseboat back into a deed for the same model. The base house has no gold or DP refund.

Caravan rental · 100 DP / 30 days

Placed caravans can be rented from their signs for 100 DP per 30 days. Before the lease expires, the tenant can pay 100 DP to add 30 days to the existing end date without losing the remaining time. On expiry, player items inside are moved to the former tenant’s bank, occupants are moved outside, and ownership and access lists are reset. The caravan becomes available to rent again once evacuation is complete. Both models have 489 base storage and 1 vendor slot, with no storage upgrades. The limit of one normal house per account remains; rented caravans do not count toward it. A house owner can rent a caravan, and a caravan tenant can place a normal house. Players cannot place or relocate caravans. Caravans cannot be sold for gold, transferred, converted into deeds, demolished or removed. When a house is removed or a caravan lease expires, each vendor’s stock, earnings and vendor deed go to that vendor’s own owner’s bank, not the house owner. An offline vendor owner or a full bank does not prevent the return.

The caravan boundary and locked door

Crossing the boundary around a caravan is not blocked as private property. The door stays locked; only the current tenant or a coowner can open or close it. Friend or access-list permission, or a copied key, does not grant this door permission. This exception does not change entry rules for ordinary houses.

Field and wall spells around caravans

Field or wall spells cannot target a caravan's interior. When a field spell is cast outside, its segments that intersect the caravan are not created.

Capacity and shared rules

Vendor capacity ranges from 1 to 5 according to the width × length of the defined house region: 1 for 1–100 tiles, 2 for 101–200, 3 for 201–300, 4 for 301–600, and 5 for 601 or more. Floors are not counted separately; storage upgrades do not increase vendor capacity. Only the house owner or a coowner may place a vendor; friend or access permission alone is insufficient. Only a vendor’s own owner can manage it. Region dimensions are not usable interior space. Lockdown, secure-container, access and door-key rules remain in effect.
