Target and range

Self.

What does it do?

Part of your eligible direct damage fills a reservoir instead of healing you immediately. You can cast in this form, but cannot mount.

Spirit Speak 0 → 100

Storage is 8% → 15% of eligible damage at 0 → 100 Spirit Speak. Capacity is 20% of your maximum health; at 120 maximum health, it holds at most 24. Capacity rounds down to whole health points; fractional storage from small hits carries into later eligible damage.

Second activation

The second activation has no preparation: it heals you for the stored blood and ends the form. It costs no mana, reagents, health or Familiar credit. The main cooldown continues without restarting or extending, followed by 1 second of shared recovery.

Counterplay

Unused blood is lost when the form expires. Releasing it counts as normal healing and is affected by healing reduction and blocking rules.

Limits

Only health actually lost by the target counts; overkill does not. Poison, bleeding, summoned-creature, reflected and transferred damage do not fill the reservoir. Hitting yourself, a party member or your own pet does not store blood. This form cannot coexist with another Necromancy form.

Things to consider

  • Enter the form on foot; no other Necromancy form can be active.
