Where Do Special Crystals Come From?
An eligible powerful dragon has an independent 18% chance to drop its associated crystal. A drop is not guaranteed after 5–6 kills. Fire Crystal sources: Greater Dragon, Ancient Wyrm, Shadow Wyrm, Skeletal Dragon, Crimson Dragon and Stygian Dragon. Ice Crystal sources: Ice Dragon, Crystal Dragon, White Wyrm and Platinum Dragon. Ordinary dragons and drakes are not on this special list.
While equipped
Fire Robe's PK requirement applies beyond the first equip. Losing PK status may return the robe to your backpack. A crystal loot definition does not guarantee the creature currently spawns at a specific world location.
First-circle protection
A player wearing an Ice Robe or Fire Robe is immune to Clumsy, Feeblemind, Magic Arrow and Weaken. *Ice Resist* or *Fire Resist* appears above the player according to the worn robe. Heal, Night Sight and Reactive Armor still work; higher-circle offensive spells are not covered. Keeping the robe in your backpack provides no protection.
