Fishing and the 500-fish Pan

Go Fishing

Target suitable water with a fishing pole. Fishing is possible while mounted, but water access and targeting checks still apply. Cut your catch into Raw Fish Steak; the pan uses cut raw fish, not whole fish.

Cook with pan

1. Buy a Fish Pan from the Fisher vendor for 18,000 gp. Cooking 100.0 is required to use it.
2. Keep cut raw fish in your regular backpack and move within 1 tile of a fire, campfire or forge.
3. Double-click the pan. It cooks up to 500 fish in 4 seconds. You cannot start a second pan while this is in progress.
4. A successful operation uses one charge. The pan has 50 uses in total, and its remaining uses are displayed on it.

If Cooking Is Cancelled

At completion, skill, pan, sufficient fish and nearby fire are checked again. If conditions fail, the action is cancelled without consuming fish or a use. NPC vendors do not sell fish; catch them or buy from players.
