Death, caravan and world save announcements

Death, caravan and world save announcements appear at the bottom left as normal system messages with no background. A small icon before the text identifies the event: a severed head for deaths, a caravan wagon for caravans and an hourglass for world saves. Player and place names are preserved; announcement text appears in your selected language, TR or EN.

Player death

If the victim had more than 3,000 Fame before death and another player dealt the fatal damage, the victim, killer and region are announced. Exactly 3,000 Fame does not qualify. A fatal attack by an owned animal is credited to its owner; deaths without a player killer do not trigger this announcement.

Ammunition and vendor stock

Single-click a bow to see the amount of its ammunition in your regular backpack above its name: (Arrow : 56). A Crossbow counts Crossbow Bolt; items in the bank are excluded. The count belongs to the player viewing the weapon. When NPC vendors restock, their blank scroll, reagent, empty bottle, Arrow, Crossbow Bolt and Arrow Shaft stock is replenished to 250 each; reopening the trading window does not replenish stock.

Caravan outcome

When the caravan dies, the owner's menu changes to No registered cargo. The Retrieve cargo option is unavailable; cargo on the corpse follows the caravan's existing looting rules.

  • Success: when the caravan owner completes the journey, their name is announced.
  • Player attack: if another player kills the caravan, the caravan owner and killer are named.
  • Failed journey: if the caravan dies without a player killer, the announcement reports that the journey failed.

Campfire surprise

Lighting a fire with kindling at 1593, 2146, 5 in Felucca makes four tribe members perform a short dance. Their names are hidden, they cannot be targeted and they do not fight. They disappear after twenty seconds.

World save

When a world save begins, the message “World save started.” appears at the bottom left. Announcements do not appear above your character or in a separate box; they fade like normal system messages and can be read again in the Journal.
