Create your family

1. Buy an Aile Deed from a Provisioner and put it in your normal Inventory backpack. A container inside that backpack is also valid; the deed cannot be used from the bank.
2. Double-click the deed and enter a family name of 3–24 characters. Turkish letters are allowed; do not use leading, trailing or consecutive spaces.
3. Complete creation if the name is valid and not already used by another family. On success, the deed is consumed and you become the family leader.
4. Type .aile in chat to open your family again.

Sending and accepting invitations

Only the family leader can send invitations. Existing invitations expire if the leader changes.

1. As the leader, use the Invite player option in the .aile menu.
2. Target an online player within 12 tiles who is not already in another family.
3. The invited player checks the family and inviter in the prompt, then accepts or declines within 60 seconds. Membership does not begin until the invitation is accepted.
4. Check the result and online status in the member list. A family can have up to 64 members, with 8 shown per page.

Identity and other characters

Family membership belongs to a character. Other characters on the same account have independent memberships. A character can belong to only one family at a time; guild and family membership are separate. Your character's name is not changed. Clicking the name displays the [Aile: Family Name] tag.

Managing members and leadership

Leaving and the creation fee

Read the second confirmation when removing members, transferring leadership, leaving or disbanding to avoid selecting the wrong person. Disbanding does not refund the deed or creation fee. Joining a family does not automatically grant access to members' banks, Savings, Storage or household items.
